The Cultural Night Showcase highlights the historical milestones, customs, and contemporary issues of historically underrepresented and traditionally marginalized groups. Through spoken word, theatrical pieces, music, food, dance, and other creative media, students express their individual and collective identities.
2025 Theme: "Cultural Constellations: Our Place in the Cosmos"

JOIN US for our third annual Cultural Night Showcase for a night of community, vibrancy, and celebration.
When: Friday, April 25th
Tickets: Free admission to students with SMC ID; a $3 cash admission fee will be charged at the door for everyone else.
Festivities: 4:00pm - 6:00pm (food trucks, photo booth, DJ, henna artist, airbrush tattoo artist, caricature artist)
Show starts 6:00 pm
(There will be a 20-minute intermission)
Doors open at approx. 5:45 pm
Where: Soda Center
Partners, colleagues, kids and friends welcome. We have seating and food for 400 which will be first-come first-serve. Please come support our students who will be showcasing their cultures and identities through song, spoken word, dance and creative media.
