Get your tickets for Saint Mary’s Dance Concert, May 8–10. Included on the program: an original work just performed at the National College Dance Festival in Washington, DC.

by Tara Sundy, Performing Arts Coordinator & Events Manager | May 3, 2025

Senior Erica Hardy's dance piece "Falling in Syncytium" was performed this past weekend at National College Dance Festival in Washington, DC. The group will be performing their award winning piece again Thursday through Saturday at SMC Dance Company's "Soaring" spring dance concert in LeFevre Theatre.

“Soaring" showcases a variety of works choreographed by our esteemed Dance faculty and performed by our students of the Saint Mary’s College Dance Company and Baile Folklorico Guadalupano. The concert will feature Baile Folklorico (Mexican folk dance), Hip-hop, Modern/Contemporary Dance, Tap and West African Dance. Join us for this special dance concert, and enjoy the talent of our award-winning students.

This would make a lovely pre-Mother's Day gift for all those mothers or mother-like figures out there!
