KSOE Faculty Spotlight - Jill Rathjen
Program Coordinator for Undergraduate Teacher Education and the Masters of Arts in Teaching Program. I teach in the SSTE and MAIT programs.
I started as a College Supervisor, began teaching part-time in the SSTE and MAIT programs since 2012 and have been working full time since 2022.
I am a very proud alum of Saint Mary's College and received my BA and teaching credential here. Some of my favorite memories have been at SMC.
KSOE is filled with educators who are student-centered and love teaching. I love how my colleagues are always willing to troubleshoot and go the extra mile for their students.
Just returned from an inspiring conference in New Orleans about integrating AI in Teacher Education courses. I'm excited to put what I've learned into practice.
I met my husband at SMC and got married in the SMC chapel.
