Professional Overview
Meghan A. Sweeney is associate professor and director of writing studies at Saint Mary's College of California, where she studies postsecondary literacies and writing program administration. She earned her PhD in Rhetoric and Writing from University of Nevada Reno in 2015. Her work has been published in Research in the Teaching of English, College Composition and Communication, Teaching English in the Two–Year College, , , WPA: Writing Program Administration, and Composition Studies. She is currently working with an inter-institutional research team to uncover inequities in higher education state legislation and is writing an open-access textbook with a team of Saint Mary’s College professors and librarians.
